Well now, Superman has kryptonite, Cloud has thunder. The end.
Some of you may remember my very first poem that I wrote waaaaaay back when I started my blog. I'll give you a hint. It was about thunder.
Seriously, the thunder is twice as loud at this house as our old one in town. It rattles the windows. It splits the sky. It chills me to my bones. My real bones, not my toy ones.
So mom read about dis thing called a Thundershirt, and how it helps dogs be less scared of thunder by putting gentle pressure on their torso, like a constant hug.
Hmmm...I like hugs!
We went outside fur to take some good photos of it.
Here I am looking very suave:
We haven't had a thunderstorm yet, but I'll give a report on my thundershirt when we do.
Luv,
Cloud the Brave, no matter what he's wearing. Except in a thunderstorm. Until now.

PeeEssWoo; Some khanines have relief with a tee-shirt too - something about the statikh charge being part of what gets them agitated/anxious -
Well I have never heard of such in my life - a thundershirt that is!
I wish I had known about it for my last puppy, but now I do! :)
Sounds like KING TOFFEE when either Thunderstorms or Edgetrimmers are around!

Hey Cloud!
I adore your thundershirt! It really accentuates your invincibility!
Very handsome looking, Cloud, and yes, suave indeed.
I am terrified of Thunder, fireworks or any loud boom and my Mom is gonna order me one furry soon. Joe Stains has one and it works good for him!
I tried the T-shirt, but it was too easy to get off and not snug enough.
Kisses,
Stella
oh very very chic
Hey Cloud, you are not alone in your fear of thunder. Phantom is afraid too, well not of Thunder the dog, but thunder in the sky. We hear that Joey Stains has one of those thundershirts and it works really well for him. Hope it is good for you too.
And many thanks again to your very talented and loving Mom for her Maxterpiece!!!

Oh, I got my fix today. I love all the photos of you Cloud. Hey, I recently watched a grrreat Victoria Stillwell-It's me or the Dog, episode and part of it was dedicated to a pup that was afraid of thunder. You must find it. Seriously, it was too informative. Example: part of the fear stems from the fact that we feel static electricity that contributes to our fear. Solution: a wipe down with a dryer sheet to help remove part of the static. ;)

I've never heard of a Thundershirt before, but it sure does look cute on you Cloud. Let us know how it works.
Hi Cloud, I've never heard of these for dogs but one of my granddaughters has some sensory problems and she wears one too.
I really hope it helps you remain calm-I often wonder why some dogs gets bothered by thunder and others don't. Hopefully you won't have any big storms.
Noreen & Reggie-the little old fellow who hangs with her.
I really want to know if this works. Sola is a storm hater too...
Good luck with the Thundershirt, Cloud. You look Most Handsome in it. My momma belongs to a Shy K9s group on yahoo and there are some peoples who use these with their doggies and really likes them. I don't mind thunder so much but my Brudder Ranger hates it. But he also hates wearing clothes so I don't know which he would hate worse.

Oh my Cloud...it was hard to keep Cindy Sue from climbing on the desk to get to the monitor...she thinks you're HOT!!
We'll have to let Moms know about the Thundershirt. Our sissy, Shiloh, is furry afraid of thunder!!!
You do look furry handsome in it!!
Woofs and Kisses!
Very styling!
I think that being Thor, God of Thunder, I don´t need that t-shirt. You look very stylish. Hope it works for you.

Hi Cloud and Happy day after Easter to you all. We hope the Easter bunny was good to you and didn't leave you.
Madi and Mom
Cool Coat. I think Timmy would like one of them, of course thunder never scares him. Even before he lost most of his hearing he was never scared of thunder..I think he would like being hugged all the time and it is most stylish!
